How to Prepare for a Hike
Our hikes are meant to be approachable, social, and enjoyable. Here’s how to come prepared so you can have the best experience:
What to Bring
Comfortable athletic clothing
Supportive shoes (trail shoes or sneakers with good grip)
Water (at least one bottle; more in warmer months)
Sunscreen and a hat
Optional: light snack, sunglasses, small backpack
What to Expect
Group pace with regular stops
Casual conversation and social interaction
Clearly communicated trail details ahead of time (distance, difficulty, location)
A welcoming, judgment-free environment
Before You Arrive
Check the hike details posted on Instagram or the website
Arrive on time so we can start together
(The meet up starts at 8:30am for people who want to stretch and warmup.
The actual hike will start at 9:00am)
Listen to your body, take breaks when needed
A Few Important Notes
Hike at your own comfort level
Respect others and the environment
Leave no trace
If you’re feeling unwell or injured, it’s okay to skip a hike
